Internet Marketing Goals For 2011 – Relationships Are Key

Ok, 2011 is well and truly here. As with the beginning of every year, people make New Years Resolutions, and aim to make this new year the best one ever.
I’m not one to make New Years Resolutions, but on reading Matt Wolfe’s blog, I got thinking…

On reading Matt’s list of achievements for 2010 and goals for 2011, I too looked back at my journey and how it’s progressed over the past year, and the past number of years.
I did leave a comment on the blog and here it is:

Great list of achievements for 2010 and goals for 2011.
Loved your goal to go to the Rugby World Cup in NZ in Nov. I’ve now added that to my list. Forgot all about it. Been to loads of Olympics and now want to attend a Rugby World Cup.
As well as that, I too want to bring my other half home so she doesn’t have to work, as well as accelerate by business massively.
My piece of advice (on top of all the good ones above) would be to make your goals the last thing you think about before you go to sleep. Visualise or read them before you sleep because your brain thinks about what you were focusing on for the last 30 minutes before sleep 15-17 times in the night!!
How cool is that. Have you brain work towards your goals 15-17 times faster – while you’re asleep.
It’s a trick I use and I’ve seen huge advances since starting it.
Looking forward to you, and everyone here, achieving your 2011 goals, and maybe we can catch a few games down in NZ in Nov.

As well as the goals I listed above, I got thinking hard and long about what I really wanted to achieve this year and what I need to do to get there…
For me, 2011 is going to be about building relationships.  This is one area I have to hold my hands up and honestly say I’ve been neglecting.
Most industries, especiallyInternet Marketing, is built on the relationships that we forge and the quality of those relationships that we build.
Fortunately, 2o11 has started off quite good with me meeting some great people personally and not only connecting with them, but building a great relationship with them.  The great thing is that they’re connected to other people, and by helping them, that’s opening doors for me to connect with other people.
I have some really awesome products coming this year, and they’re not going to get the momentum and success that they can achieve without people knowing about them.  The quickest way for this is through affiliates and JV’s.  Having people who are willing to promote my products, whether it’s in a launch or ongoing product sales is essential to not only my success online, but everyones.
So, this year is the year of the Relationship. I’m looking to connect with great people and to help them move towards the success they can achieve. In doing so, I also move towards my own success.
